Description

This commemorative medal measures about 4.6 cm in diameter, was made manually in scale 1:1, without automated reduction processes and, subsequently, was reproduced in limited series and enriched by electro galvanization and finally brushed by hand.
The medal is shipped in a practical handmade blue velvet effect bag with a certificate that in addition to guaranteeing the authenticity shows the serial number.

Straight
Three-dimensional representation of the bust of Victor Emmanuel II of Savoy (Turin, March 14, 1820 – Rome, January 9, 1878), was the last King of Sardinia (1849 to 1861) and the first King of Italy (1861 to 1878).
Assisted by the Prime Minister Camillo Benso, Count of Cavour, he brought to completion the Risorgimento, culminating in the proclamation of the Kingdom of Italy. For having achieved the Unification of Italy, is referred to as the Father of the Fatherland, as it appears in the inscription on the national monument that takes its name from him Vittoriano, located in Rome, in Piazza Venezia.

Verso
The reverse shows a depiction of the tomb of King Victor Emmanuel II, buried in the imposing and magnificent monument of the Pantheon in Rome on January 17, 1878, the first King of Italy and Father of the Fatherland. The Tomb, located in the central chapel on the right, bears a gigantic bronze funeral plaque, cast with the metal of the cannons conquered from the Austrians during the wars of 1848, 1849 and 1859. The Royal Tombs are kept in order by volunteers from royalist organizations, and honor guard service is rendered by the Guard of Honor of the Royal Tombs of the Pantheon.
