This commemorative medal measures about 4.6 cm in diameter, was made manually in scale 1:1, without automated reduction processes and, subsequently, was reproduced in limited series and enriched by electro galvanization and finally brushed by hand.
The medal is shipped in a practical handmade blue velvet effect bag with a certificate that in addition to guaranteeing the authenticity shows the serial number.

Reported in three-dimensional form the representation of the bust of Padre Pio of Pietrelcina, born Francesco Forgione (Pietrelcina, May 25, 1887 – San Giovanni Rotondo, September 23, 1968), was an Italian priest of the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin, the Catholic Church venerates him as a saint and celebrates the liturgical memory on September 23, anniversary of his death.

The reverse bears a depiction of the pericope, a group of verses extracted from a text that form a unit, of the Good Shepherd. Located in the Gospel according to John. In it, Jesus himself describes himself as the shepherd who gives his life for his sheep. This passage has echoes in the other Gospels, especially in the Parable of the Lost Sheep, from which Jesus is often referred to as the Good Shepherd.
