Description
This commemorative medal measures about 4.6 cm in diameter, was made manually in scale 1:1, without automated reduction processes and, subsequently, was reproduced in limited series and enriched by electro galvanization and finally brushed by hand.
The medal is shipped in a practical handmade blue velvet effect bag with a certificate that in addition to guaranteeing the authenticity shows the serial number.

The artist has tried to commemorate the moon landing of the Apollo 11 space mission, the one with which Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, the two most famous American astronauts, reached the moon on July 20, 1969. The eagle symbolizes the words of the commander Neil Armstrong at the control center of NASA in Houston and from there bounced on TV and radio all over the world: Houston, here base of Tranquility, the Eagle has landed!
To
Three-dimensional figure representing the first moonwalk, broadcast live on television for a worldwide audience. In placing the first foot on the surface of the Moon Armstrong commented on the event as “a small step for [one] man, a great leap for mankind.”
